Kemi Olunloyo Speaks From Prison‎, Says ‘Nigeria Will Soon Return To Democracy’


Ex-governor Omololu Olunloyo’s daughter, Ms Kemi Olunloyo, has spoken to her fans from Port Harcourt Maximum Prison, River State,  where she is being remanded.

With a caption of season’s greetings to all her fans, Olunloyo, disclosed that she is in high spirit. This is just as she expressed optimism that Nigeria would soon adopt the realities of democracy.
The controversial journalist and social media commentator, who was earlier released from prison sometimes in June this year was again remanded in October 12 over an alleged defamatory post on Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries.
Olunloyo believes she is being punished for practicing ‘investigative journalism.’
Her words:
“I’m still being held in Port Harcourt max prison.
“I’m in high spirits, very soon Nigeria will return to democracy – madam koo.
“Journalism is not a crime, support investigative journalism”, she wrote on her page.
