A last-gasp Zlatan Ibrahimovic strike at Selhurst Park on Wednesday gave the Reds a deserved 2-1 win over the Eagles, on the back of a 1-0 triumph at home to Spurs last weekend.
West Bromwich Albion are next up for Jose Mourinho's men and Jones is predicting a similar test to that which the Reds faced in south London in midweek, and the in-form defender feels it's vital to pick up another three points.
"Game by game, everyone is getting confidence and we need to get in the habit of winning games week in, week out. It's the same for Saturday: we need to go and do the business and maintain the form we’re in," he told MUTV.
"I didn’t think we played as well as we could have done at Palace the other night but we’re still winning games and finding ways to win matches and that’s the sign of a great team.
"I think it’ll be a similar game on Saturday to Crystal Palace. They [West Brom] play very direct but they’re good at it. They’ve got some strong players – big, tall and aggressive players – so it will be a battle and a fight, but we’ve got to be ready for that and be up for it, and as soon as the whistle goes we need to concentrate."
The Reds' current position in the table does not reflect the excellent form United have been in of late, but Jones remains optimistic that the team can still make a strong challenge, providing the win ratio increases.
"If we put a run of six back-to-back wins together, for example, it [our position in the table] will dramatically change," he insisted. "People can write us off; everyone is entitled to their opinion, but we need keep plugging away, keep picking up wins and we’ll see where we are."
